Stiftung Impuls, Schaffhausen (CH)

The two-storey wood construction was realised in the shortest possible building time using the Steko wood construction system. The commercial building, which measures 46.5 m x 15.5 m, is accessible via central stairways. The administration, the factory halls and the canteen with the attached crèche are located in the four opening rooms. The delicate interior construction is designed as an open room with pillars. Partitions have been erected using lightweight construction.

The architectural office Ulmer + Zarotti in Schaffhausen realised the wood building. Due to a simple building structure and the great collaboration with the companies and planners involved the new building could be erected very cost-effectively.
